Dr. Chakmakjian has been practicing pediatrics in Waco since 2003. Most people call him “Dr. Chak.” He is happily married to his wife Jennifer for over twenty-two years. They have boy-girl twins who are currently freshman at Baylor, as well as a son in 7th grade. He grew up in Dallas, and then graduated magna cum laude from Baylor in 1996 with a B.A. in Biology. Sic’em Bears! Next, he graduated AOA from Texas Tech School of Medicine in 2000. Afterwards, he completed his pediatric residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2003. He is active at Fellowship Bible Church where he teaches K-garten, and has been on several mission trips. He enjoys cycling, swimming, basketball, and watching sports, especially Baylor.
